Keller Developments to Build Eagles Gymnastics Expansion Project

Keller Developments has been awarded the new build for Eagles Gymnastics Club's second gym space in Brandon, a project that lands in a milestone year for the club, which is marking 40 years in its current facility on 22nd Street.

Founded in the 1980s, Eagles Gymnastics has been the city's primary source for gymnastics ever since, and the club expects more than 600 members through its doors in 2027. Programming now stretches well beyond competitive gymnastics, from mobility classes for older adults to sessions for babies as young as eight months old.

The new building will sit on what is currently the club's parking lot — nearby the existing facility, though not attached to it — and is intended to be fully functional as an instructional program gym and adaptive program gym, with room to host birthday parties as well. Eagles plans to break ground in spring 2027 and complete construction by December 2027. The current building will continue to serve the club's competitive, trampoline, and cheer athletes.

Kelsey Swidnicki, Planning & Development Manager Eagles program director Marilee Simpson called the anniversary "an incredible milestone" for the club and its members, and pointed to the expansion as the next step in a program that keeps growing — from a cheerleading team that has already reached 40 athletes in its second year, to a senior mobility program helping older adults stay active.
